Strawberries From France

Close your eyes and think about the best strawberry flavor you’ve ever tasted… this is it,100 percent au natural, no artificial flavor and as sweet as the first warm day of spring. These strawberries must be eaten at room temperature and within 1 to 2 days, from farm to table. I buy them at the Farmer’s markets in Geneva, Switzerland. The markets are in different locations, almost daily, throughout the city. If you cannot get to the Farmers market, you can still find them in the local Swiss grocery stores, Migros or Coop. And of course at the local French grocery stores, like Carrefours. The taste is always tres bon!

Europeans are natural locavores–they eat what is available locally and seasonally. Although, some foods are imported, most foods are grown and produced within each country’s limits with strict agricultural regulations.
